At STRIZO Plastics we believe that a floor should be more than just a substrate. A floor should be strong, durable and practical - exactly what you get with an Epoxy cast floor from Strizo. Our epoxy cast floors are designed to last, withstand heavy use and are easy to maintain.
Whether in offices, industrial halls, user spaces such as garages, workshops or commercial areas, with a floor from STRIZO you choose quality.
What are Epoxy screeds?
An Epoxy screed is a self-levelling, seamless floor finish based on epoxy binder. The epoxy binder makes the floor strong, wear-resistant and highly resistant to many harmful substances such as oils, greases, solvents, cleaning agents, acids and bases.
An Epoxy screed system is built up in 3 steps:
- Primer coat: Ensures good adhesion to the substrate.
- Scraping layer (levelling layer): Makes the floor flat and ready for the epoxy casting layer.
- Pouring layer of epoxy (screed): This is the wear-resistant layer that gives the floor its strength and determines its appearance.
Why choose epoxy cast floors from STRIZO?
✔️ Good flow: Due to its good flow, Strizo Epoxy casting floor is easy to process.
✔️ Strong, wear-resistant and impermeable: Good resistance to high mechanical loads, wear-resistant and therefore suitable against heavy loads - think of intensive or heavy transport of forklifts, for example. Due to the closed structure, the floor is impermeable to fluids and dirt cannot penetrate the floor.
✔️ Seamless and easy to keep clean: Thanks to its seamless and closed structure (non-porous), the floor can be cleaned quickly and easily with mop or mop, thus remaining hygienic.
✔️ Chemical resistance: Epoxy is highly resistant to chemicals such as oil, grease, and commonly used cleaning agents. As a result, the floor stays beautiful for a long time - even when used intensively and heavily.
✔️ Many colour options: Epoxy cast floors are available in RAL and NCS colours as standard. So you can make the floor match your house style or desired look. There are also non-slip options for increased safety.

Our epoxy screed systems
STRIZO EP 425 - epoxy self-levelling screed from 2 mm

How is an epoxy screed applied?
The secret to a good epoxy screed is in the right application:
- Surface preparation; The floor is cleaned and levelled by sanding or blasting.
- Applying primer; The primer ensures that the epoxy adheres well.
- Apply scraping layer; Minor unevennesses are removed.
- Epoxy casting layer application; The casting floor is poured and evenly distributed.
- Top coating (optional); For matt finish, anti-slip or extra protection.
